Born in London, UK, I came to Canada with my family at the age of six. My scientific and artistic interest in how the world works began early.

A natural curiosity led to “off-label” uses for chemistry sets, and many hours of electronic tinkering. Homework waited  alongside a hot soldering iron and circuit boards. Later on, I redeemed myself with a degree in Computer Science,  a few scientific papers and a couple of patents.

Photography, with its scientific foundations, is a natural vehicle for my artistic side. Getting behind a camera provides yet another view on the world.  Distilling an image to its essence appeals to me.
